Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku)

Located at the Shinjuku South Exit, Busta Shinjuku is the largest highway bus terminal in Japan. In English, it is also known as the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal.

There are a maximum of about 1,600 departures a day with buses traveling by expressway to about 300 cities in 39 prefectures across the country. Access is excellent as it is connected to JR Shinjuku Station. The bus stops, ticket office, and waiting space are located on the 4th floor, and there is a taxi stand on the 3rd floor. There is a large waiting room, toilets, and a nursing room, as well as coin-operated chargers and free Wi-Fi, so you can leisurely relax here while waiting for your bus.

In addition to ATMs, there are also convenience stores, souvenir shops where you can buy local specialty products of the Kanto area, such as Tokyo, coin lockers, luggage storage & delivery services, multilingual tourist information centers (Tokyo Tourist Information Center) designed to assist not only Japanese tourists but those from around the world.
